Smart Accessibility Checker
Accessibility | Figma Plugin | Design Systems
PLATFORM : Figma Plugin
DURATION : 4 Weeks
Accessibility should be built into the workflow, not added at the finish line…
A Figma plugin that brings accessibility checks directly into the design workflow through live validation, colour blindness simulation, and actionable feedback.

Most accessibility checks happen after the interface is already designed. By then, fixing contrast, touch targets, or readability often means revisiting multiple screens and components. Accessibility becomes another review step instead of an integral part of the design process.
During design reviews, accessibility often became a final checklist instead of a design companion.
Contrast issues, tiny touch targets, missing labels, and poor keyboard support were usually discovered after the interface was already built.
By then, fixing them meant redesigning screens instead of improving them.
The problem wasn't lack of awareness. It was a broken workflow.
Select a frame, choose simulations and scan in one click.
Evidence, empathy and usability are at the foundation of every decision.
This project reinforced a belief I now carry into every design process. Tools don’t just support design. They influence how designers think and work. By reducing the friction around accessibility, I learned that thoughtful tooling can shape habits, encourage better decisions, and make inclusive design feel like a natural part of the workflow instead of a final checklist.
Built with the right tools and a solid architecture to deliver accurate checks, meaningful suggestions, and safe fixes inside Figma.
From the problem, to a plugin that designs inclusively.
Rather than adding another accessibility report, I redesigned when and how accessibility appears inside the design process. Every feature exists because it removes friction that designers experience during audits.
